Moderating effects of national culture on the psychological contract breach and outcome relationship: a meta-analysis

Purpose This paper contains a meta-analysis of the psychological contract literature published in last two decades. The aim this was to investigate moderating role national culture individual-level relationships between breach (PCB) and important work outcomes, namely job performance (in-role organizational citizenship behaviors) turnover (actual intended). Design/methodology/approach After an extensive search, 134 studies were found which matched authors’ aim. authors then incorporated cultural scores based on GLOBE study include country-level identify how PCB with these four outcomes vary across cultures. Findings findings indicate that practices moderated associations yet, no significant moderations for uncertainty avoidance practices.
